A part of the "old" vineyards are characterised by a low planting density and the vines, despite being of a certain age, have reached their productive balance. Thanks to the well-developed root system, they are able to enhance the typicality of the territory by producing an excellent grape.
The "new" vineyards have a density of over 4000 vines per hectare, lovingly planted in plots historically suited and designed to make the most of sun exposure. All of the operations in the vineyard, from winter pruning to green pruning, are carried out manually so as to avoid creating "stress" for the plant.
Currently the total production is about 15,00 bottles a year, with an average yield per hectare of 60 q obtained following management techniques established by the production regulations of Sizzano DOC, of the Colline Novaresi DOC and of the European regulation of integrated pest management in compliance with environmental standards.
